Modified on Wed, 8 May at 5:40 PM

To integrate Everflow Data to 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform, please follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard.

1. Create a new Integration

Go to Integrations > Overview and click   + New Integration   button.

2. Select the Integration Type and and fill in a Title & Organization

  • Name your integration so it can be easily recognized (it can be changed anytime later on)
  • Select Everflow icon
  • Click Next

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Active: Decide whether the integration should be active or inactive. When inactive all clicks will be blocked and conversions won't be imported.

Monitoring Mode: by default, the Global Filter Group assigned to every integration will have a "monitoring mode" status and not filters active for the screening. Once the integration is completed, remeber to set the screening rules. When "monitoring mode" is active, click and conversions are not being blocked even if they show as approved or rejected in the ASP reports.

Turn "Monitoring Mode" off when you want to start blocking the clicks and conversions rejected by the filters.

3. Fill in Everflow API Key

  • Paste the Everflow API Key inside the dedicated field
  • click "Synchronize" button. A confirmation message will show in the bottom left corner
  • clcik "Save" button and continue to Clicks TAB

NOTE: The API Key will be provided to you by Everflow Support.

Optionally, add Blacklisted Sources or Whitelisted Sources. Blacklisted values are excluded from importing. If you enter a whitelisted value, only this value will be imported.

4. Set up click screening in the Clicks Tab

Check your Integration Setup and Filter Settings directly with the Click Example Tracking URL. The URL is updated immediately when changing the configurations below.

Map your click URL parameter to match 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform's internal mapping in the Click Tracking Configuration. If no custom domain is specified, a 24metrics domain will be used.

Fill in a URL to send approved Clicks to and select the parameters you need. It is also possible to enable/disable passing extra parameters (Pass Extra PArameters is reccomended).

You have different options how to handle rejected Clicks:

  • You can block all rejected clicks (switch on the dedicated button).
  • You can use the Offer Preview URL defined by Everflow (most used as alternative to blocking).
  • You can use a Custom Fallback URL to send rejected Clicks to.
  • You can enable RTB monetization.

5. Set Up Conversions in the Conversion Tab

Once you enabled the Conversions Import you can also track conversions in your 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform integration.

6. Everflow Syncing

When Platform Syncing is enabled, rejected conversions are uploaded to Everflow and the conversion status is syncronized with 24Metrics Status. Once enabled, you can choose to sync all conversions or only conversions with status Pedning in Everflow.

The sync can be applied globally on all offer or on specific selected offers only.

Recommandation: Third Party Rejection Endpoint

  • The platform can sync with a 3rd party rejection platform/advertiser by using the provided endpoint. Open the Advanced Settings and copy the Endpoint to be implemented on your 3rd Party Provider.
  • Important, the External_Transaction_ID and Rejected_Reason are mandatory.

7. Set Up the Connection to your Domain

Choose your Domain Provider and see the values for DNS Records that need to be updated in the settings of your domain to create connection to the 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform integration.

Save Settings

Click "Save" and start using your integration. It might take 10/15 mins until all the ettings are in sync for live traffic,. You can now click on Filters menu label and start setting up the screening rules for your integration.
